In 2016, eyewear brand Revo debuted a new capsule collection of sunglasses in collaboration with U2 lead singer and activist Bono as part of the “Buy Vision, Give Sight” campaign to prevent vision impairment and blindness in more than 5 million people by 2020.
Founded in 1985, Revo quickly became a global performance eyewear brand known as the leader in polarized lens technology. Revo sunglasses were first created by utilizing lens technology developed by NASA as solar protection for satellites. Buy Vision, Give Sight will drive $10 million to the fight to improve access to eye screening, prescription glasses and eye health care in under-resourced communities around the world.
The Vision over Visibility collection features Revo’s pioneering lens technology and includes five frame styles inspired by Bono. Indigo & Cloth designed the identity for the range across a range of assets including the glasses themselves. As part of our work with REVO, we also developed campaign and POS propositions. The range is available online at Revo.com and speciality, optical and sporting goods stores around the world.
